By downloading, installing, or using Scrivar ("the Software"), or by visiting scrivar.com ("the Website"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Software or Website.
Scrivar is a desktop PDF editing and document management application for Windows and macOS, offered in two tiers (Lite and Pro). The Software is licensed, not sold. Your purchase grants you a perpetual, non-exclusive license to use the version you purchased, subject to these Terms.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Scrivar. If you are between 13 and 18, you must have your parent or guardian's permission. By using the Software, you represent that you meet these requirements.
Each registration code activates the Software on one device at a time. You are responsible for keeping your code confidential. You may transfer your license to a different device by deactivating it first (in Settings or by emailing [email protected]). Sharing, reselling, or distributing codes to others without authorization is prohibited.
One-time purchases. Scrivar Lite and Pro are one-time purchases that grant perpetual access to the version you bought. Purchases made through Amazon are subject to Amazon's refund and return policies.
Optional subscriptions. Cloud storage and AI add-on features are billed on a monthly or annual basis through Stripe. You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
Refunds. For purchases made on Amazon, refund requests are handled by Amazon according to their policies. For subscriptions billed through our website, contact [email protected] within 14 days of purchase for a full refund.
Scrivar offers a 7-day free trial with access to all Pro features. No credit card is required. After the trial expires, you must purchase a license to continue using the Software. Trial usage is limited to one trial per device.

Your use of Scrivar is also governed by our Privacy Policy. All document processing occurs locally on your device. We do not upload, access, or store your files unless you opt in to the cloud storage add-on.
We may release updates to the Software that include bug fixes, security patches, and new features. Your license entitles you to all updates within the version year you purchased (e.g., Scrivar 2027 receives all 2027 updates). Future major versions (e.g., Scrivar 2028) are separate purchases, with upgrade pricing available to existing customers.
The Software is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant that the Software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with all systems or file types.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pound Pixel LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Software, including but not limited to data loss, business interruption, or loss of profits. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Software.
We may revoke your license if you violate these Terms, including code sharing, reverse engineering, or abusive use of our services. Upon termination, you must uninstall the Software and cease all use. Sections regarding intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability survive termination.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users (e.g., in-app notification or email).
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved in the courts of Miami-Dade County, Florida.
